The door is open, someone is arriving, and the table is almost ready. There are drinks to pour, dishes to taste and plenty of conversation and laughter to come.
This Italian word search is all about l’arte dell’ospitalità: the little things that make a guest feel welcome, whether they’re staying for dinner or for a few days. Sometimes that means cooking their favourite dish, just because you know they’ll love it.
That’s how it was growing up in Sardinia, and these are the words I remember from it. “Assaggia questo…” (Try this…) was definitely one of them. 😄
